Observation: my S/O is a photographer, and I want nothing to do with that. Like I can absolutely appreciate nice pictures, and of the two of us, I'm much more the traditional artist, but I don't want to be photographed. Like. If I could just shed my corporeal form and not exist in the physical plane, that would be great because then R couldn't take pictures of me.
I don't want to exist, maybe I can live the rest of my life like a cryptid, never appearing on camera.

Current musings, in no particular order:
I've been thinking about what I need to write in order to push myself. I hit walls, and then once I'm blocked, I'm blocked for what feels like ages.
(Background: started writing fanfic, the really cringey sort with poorly developed OCs, back in 6th grade. Still toy around with fic ideas sometimes, had a couple of good ones here and there at the beginning of college, had a bit of a team-up going on with a good friend and that sort of never got written. Wrote over half a million words in an original fantasy trilogy back in high school. Retrospect: It's garbage. Several standalone books in college. Also garbage, but...higher quality garbage. The sort people might pick through to get pop cans for recycling money or pull scrap metal out of. I'm finally getting to the point that I feel my next novel might be worth publishing? But I'm not sure what I'm going to write. So many of the books I wrote 'back in the day' were off the wall 'but what if' sort of stories.)
(Strengths: fight scenes, dialogue, sass. That's it. That's all I've got.)
(Weaknesses: the flat bits between the exciting bits, character relationships/romance, sex scenes (seriously, my S/O can write romance better in two line texts than I can in longform on a keyboard. I'm pathetic.), expose, plot holes I don't notice til it's too late. Outlining. Outlining. Really, just planning anything)
I don't know where I'm going with this, but I'm going somewhere.
